Great experience. Helped my shoulder pain after nothing else did. Almost 100% relief after a couple of visits. Would absolutely recommend.

After having a complete root tear of the meniscus on my left knee, I learned through a friend of mine that I had an option other than the surgery procedure that is usually always recommended. PROLOTHERAPY. I read the material that Dr. Bond gave me and I agreed that this would be my option. A simple procedure followed up with 6 weeks of INTENTIONAL physical therapy was the ticket to true recovery for my knee. The other clients and staff at the PT were amazed at the progress I was making. I am now back to nearly 100% use of my knee. I recommend Dr. Tommy Bond's procedure to anyone with joint mobility issues.

I’ve always received great care from this place. They are excellent doctors. They have always taken the time to answer my questions and offer top notch care. After many years of deliberating, I had the regenerative procedure on my back. I am thrilled with the results!!! Lafayette is fortunate to have Dr Bond and his expertise available to us.

I honestly do not know where to start. If you are suffering from chronic pain, then I highly recommend you see Dr. Bond. It's very unfortunate that there are not other facilities that offer non-steroidal and non-invasive procedures regularly for orthopedic patients. The standard of care is LESI injections from pain management doctors. Don't get me wrong, these work sometimes, but after personally receiving over 15 LESI procedures over a 20 year period, I can assure you that the medicine inside of these will not do your spine any good in the future. And of course, aside from costing over $200,000, spinal surgeries are not always effective at relieving the source of the pain! I had back surgery, and still had pain and sciatica afterwards that lingered for years. I was never offered something less invasive or regenerative. When I met Dr. Bond, and I found out about these types of procedures, I felt angry that I went through all of that when there was something else I could have tried first that didn't involved steroids or surgery. I wasn't sure about any of these procedures, as they kind of sounded too good to be true. But I did my research! I also asked around, and anyone I met that was suffering from pain who had one of these procedures had some type of improvement. I just wanted a better quality of life. I figured, what could it hurt?! No cutting on me, just needles! I took a chance, and I am forever grateful. Here are the procedures I have had: After 3 knee surgeries on my left knee from an original quad tendon rupture, I had the 3 part bonemarrow stem cell procedure! It wasn't an easy process, I'm not going to lie, but again, it was way better than getting chopped on again and it not working! The gamble paid off. I was unable to lift weights or exercise fully before the procedure, and a year later I am as active as ever! I still have intermittent pain, but that is due to the injuries cause from surgery to the bone, not the initial injury. When I have any kind of flare-up, I go to him and voila, I'm back to my old self! I also had the SC stem cell procedure on my back twice, where they use your blood stem cells and inject them into the damaged area using ultrasound guided technology. It isn't like regular PRP, it is a patented procedure called REGENEXX. You have to research it, but it's definitely a game changer for me! My sciatica is better, my sleep is better, and again, if I have a flare-up, I'm there and he's on it! The third procedure I had was on my right knee, where I had an unsuccessful long-term knee scope years prior and still had pain and meniscus tears. Dr. Bond did the SC procedure and prolotherapy, and I was able to avoid another scope on my knee! This knee is 100% better now! Lastly, I also got treated for neck pain and still do. For this, so far I have just done trigger point injections, which is lidocaine and dextrose, and immediately, I have neck pain and headache relief! So, today, as I was at the gym thinking about just how much better I feel in the last 5 years of being treated here compared to the last 20 of traditional treatments, I had to share!!!!! I know if someone would have told me this beforehand, I may have been able to avoid some of the surgeries. Hey, MAYBE NOT...everyone is different. BUT! I have seen it work on myself and many others I have sent there, as well! You won't know unless you try. You cannot trust big pharma, and you definitely cannot trust insurance companies. So, you HAVE to do your own research to see what's best for you and your particular injury. Never take your first opinion, and always look for yourself before you go ahead with any type of treatment, including these! You are your best advocate. But for me, I learned the hard way, so I'm leaving this review in hopes that I can help at least one person get better! Chronic pain isn't fun, and I appreciate what Dr.Bond has done to help me live a better life thusfar.

I used to be a patient of Dr. Bond, and have convalesced, thanks to his help, enough to be back to normal. He offered me new, and semi-expensive treatments, but always worked out payment plans, and never pushed anything on me, to make it seem about financially benefitting his practice, in any way. He will prescribe opioid medication, if needed, but follows DEA guidelines, and does not prescribe unnecessarily. For those people giving him a hard time about watching his script writing, look elsewhere, because physical recovery, and return to physical activity, is priority to him, and his clinic. I'm glad he helped me get back into the gym. That is what pain management should inspire, in opposition to sitting on your sofa, being a vegetable from overuse of rxs.

I noticed the rating for TotalCare Health & Wellness was less than a 4.5, which to me is unconscionable and so I felt the need to post my experience from several years ago. Dr. Bond was able to identify tears in my shoulder that a traditional orthopedist failed to observe. Compared to the recovery outlook quoted to me by the traditional doctor and what I actually experienced with the treatment given by Dr. Bond, the paltry cost to have my shoulder working again was one of the wisest investments I've ever made. 6 months and an uncertain recovery versus only 3 weeks from Regenexx is a no brainer for anyone serious about being well again. Do not be deceived by anyone claiming this practice offers anything but the best modern medicine has to offer in terms of regenerative medicine. It's criminal how insurance won't cover Regenexx, but I guess that's America in a nutshell.

Where do I even begin? I have read some of the reviews, and because TotalCare is literally like my 2nd family, I felt the need to redeem them through my own experience. (NO, I am not an athlete with alot of $ in fact, I am a stay-at-home-wife who is working on healing my body before I get back into the workfield.) I am a chronic pain patient. Back surgery in 2014, open quad leg surgery in 2016, never healed properly, screw migrating through knee cap, and never regained function of my leg again. On top of that, I have fibromyalgia and hypothyroidism. When I came here for the 1st time, I had no idea they served the patient as a whole. My mom had just got diagnosed pancreatic cancer and everything was a whirlwind. If I needed an appointment last minute, they were accommodating. They also helped her with alternative treatments, including THC and vitamin C infusions. In fact, my whole family is a part of the clinic now. Our first PA; Ashley Ramsey, helped diagnose the hypothyroidism, even after the former GP had missed it for many years. After I got on medicine, I felt better and was able to lose weight. The PA, Kristyn, who joined the Totalcare family a year or so ago, is also helpful and accommodating. She always has a smile on her face, and is good with hormones, as well. Next in the family is Charra, the myofascial therapist. The massage techniques she uses help with the pain so much, that the amount of injections I was getting for pain decreased. She is awesome! I only pay my deductible for that treatment, too. I do bloodwork to check my hormone levels and for yearly health exam. If I have a question about a bill from the lab, Marilyn in the front ALWAYS addresses it and helps me, all I have to do is ask. She is so helpful and always somehow finds a spot for me when I'm in a pain crisis. As far as Dr. Bond and his team, Ashley and Laura, they are experienced, caring, professional and experts in this field of regenerative medicine. Dr. Bond has a degree from Duke University and also practices family medicine, which is awesome because I use him for chronic pain injury treatment and for family medicine. An all-in-one! The Regenexx procedures he offers is state-of-the-art, and although insurance unfortunately hasn't caught on to how helpful these types of procedures are for people, they're worth the $. The out-of-pocket I paid for knee surgery was actually MORE than the regenerative injections I had on my spine. After back surgery, I still had pain, and new disc issues above and below the area of surgery, which is quite common. I was so discouraged. 6 weeks after my Regenexx spine procedure, I was pain free for the first time in year . Pain does something to your body, including lower your immunity and worsen depression, so this wa sa huge deal to me. Since then, I have been able to get TPI injections to help keep the pain in check, which is covered under the insurance. I am planning on getting Regenexx for my leg in the future. I trust him with the complexity of my injuries, and have done my own research to back the type of therapy up and make my own conclusions. His team, Laura and Ashley, have made this whole process easy. They treat me like family, rub my shoulder when I am feeling anxious during the procedure, and are always there to answer any questions I have. Before Totalcare, I was less healthy, in more pain, and heavier. I am so thankful for these people. I send people their way all the time, as I truly believe in what they do and the mission. Do your own research and you will see, too, that they are the real deal. Thank you Totalcare. ♡

I was referred to Ashley Ramsey by my daughter-in -law a couple of years back and decided to give her a try, having been through menopause for years and struggling through life without hormones has been challenging. Ashley’s knowledge and practice of natural hormone therapy is exceptional. She takes her time to listen to you to and your needs and figures out the right plan for you. She’s caring and passionate about her practice. I have to honestly say her hormonal therapy she provided me has changed my life! She is always available if I have questions and or issues. I highly recommend her!

I have been trusting my care to TCHW for more than 4 years and could not be more thankful to have found such a personal and innovative practice. Ashley Ramsey, PA is my go-to gal for EVERYTHING! She’s just the right amount of western meets eastern medicine, she is never pushy on any treatment and gives the most comprehensive care I have ever received! Seriously...talk about attentive, kind and smart as heck! I recently moved, but will still make the drive from Texas to Louisiana to see her. Patient for life right here!

After 4 knee surgeries to repair the tracking of my kneecap and many meniscus tears I was still in chronic pain and left with almost no options for traditional medicine. Several of my friends and doctor’s recommended Dr. Tommy Bond for his regenerative procedures. I was so tired of living in constant pain and figured why not try it. When I first arrived at his office I found a doctor who actually listened to me about my pain. He began some testing and quickly found several issues within my knee that he believed he could help with. So began the journey of Prolotherapy. In the first year I had many rounds of treatment and it wasn’t easy. But one by one we began to regenerate tissue, relieve nerve damage, strengthen muscles and allow me to live a more pain free life. When we started this treatment Dr. Bond asked me what did I really want to achieve and my answer was that I wanted to dance again!!!! Well guess what? I am dancing and so much more. To say that Dr. Bond and his staff go above and beyond is an understatement. They become your friend, cheerleader, adviser and hero’s. I will always be grateful for getting my life back!!!
